info for Suriname project

Hi,
I am a college student and, for one of my classes, am doing an extensive project on Suriname. I need to get as much info as I can on the European exploration, the physical geography, the human geography, and ecological issues of Suriname. If anyone could point me to good sources that have this info I would really appreciate it. I need this info as soon as possible. Thanks.
