Dear all!
I am a 22 years old female from Germany. Since I have seen a documentation on Surinam on TV a few weeks ago I try to find out as much as possible about your country as I have been fascinated by what I have learned so far.
I would love to come and live in Surinam at least for a while in my life but I am afraid I did not find too much about the every day life in Surinam. That is why I would like to find a penpal like you!

I would be more than happy to help you with the information you are seeking. I have lived in Suriname almost all my life untill I moved to the USA four years ago. There is so much about Suriname to know that it would take a year and a day to tell it all. but I can start by telling you that Suriname has ten districts and seven rivers and that the currecy is $1 to SRD 2.700 and that the majority of the population transport by bus. and I also want you to check out this site for the latest news.

I'm living in Lueneburg, which is about a 30 minutes drive south of Hamburg. Munich is pretty far away, I'm afraid... What are you going to do in Munich? And where are you from? Are you going to Surinam on vacation or are you going to work or study there?
