Suriname only food - HELP!

Hey folks,

I hope you can help me with this one: a friend of mine told me that there was a cassave-like fruit in Suriname, which is used as nutrition [B]just and onl[/B]y in Suriname. So it cannot be Cassava or Maniok anyway.

Could anyone give me some help? Thanks in advance!
