Dialing instructoins

Hello, my question concerns making international calls to Suriname. Im trying to phone a friend, but all I have is a seven digit cell phone #. I know that Surinames country code is 597, but I dont have a city code or cell phone code. Can anyone offer some advice on this matter...perhaps you know the prefixes that are used for cell phones in Suriname. Thanks in advance

I call from the US and have to dial 011-597-and what ever the number is.

you may have all the required digits
in the us we have 10 digits but this is not universal
rule of thumb, always ignore leading zero when dialing international
so if the number is 0464394 you dial 597-464394
