Hello, I am just wondering about the different ways to get internet here in Suriname. I know of telesur and cq-link. telesur offers dial-up and adsl. cq-link offers dial up and wireless. I have heard that there is satalite available, but I am not sure who offers it. Both Telesur and CQ-Link claim to have "high speed internet" but when you do a bandwidth test...you aren't even at ISDN level. Truly sad. I was paying for 512M at $415 a month but, only connecting with 59% signal and maybe sustained 12-14kbps. That's only 3-4 times faster than dial up! Is there any help on the horizon??? Are there other options???

Hi there

Soon there will be a Satellite provider in Suriname. Surpost is the only one who has satellite connections, but the price is to high! But this year (2007) there will be more providers... Just have to wait :D Gino Eersel
