Good morning

If you are a bake note collector, I have copes of the new 50 peso notes just issued in polimer plastic by Mexico and and the new 100 pewso note that has the bvrail stripping for use by the blind.

I(also have some of the old $1 and $2 notes that Canada issued and were replaced by coins.

I am going home to Canda tomorrow but will be back in New Miexico on March 7th (I am not bringing my lap top, too much trouble on the American side now)

Take care

Dear janice

i was born in new York City but raised in Gananoque, Ontario. I retired in Red Deer, Alberta and am a snowbird here in New Miexico. I am going to see a friend in Ganaoque next week for about 10 days, (freezing my tail off) and tghen back here to get warm.

The new 50 paso note waws just issued this year, new design but same size as the old ones. the 100 peso is exactly the same but there were brail strips added on the top right. they did to the `100, 200 AHND 500 PESO NOTES BUT LEFT THE 1000 AS IS. then again 1000 pesos i9s several months pay.

Next year Mexico will begin a completely new reissue of all its notes, each note to be of a different size.

I do not have any Surinam not4es. I was preparing an exhibit for our local coin show (the Dollar from A to Z) and discovered that your new currency is the dollar. also discovered that Namibia is now iswsuing Dollrs to circulate beside the South Africa Rand. so i will also need a one dollar note from Surinam. Just one set of the last old notes would be fine.

More when i get back

Charlie,

Hmm, so a Newyorker raised in ontario and currently live in mexico, very interesting. Believe it or not, I'm resided in ontario too, that's why I asked, hoping that maybe by chance your trip this time coming here, so we can make trading more easier.

I know it's freezing in alberta, so is my place as well, can't wait till spring comes. Not sure if you know that surinam has coins too, there was a time that they didn't use it, but year or two ago they brought it back to circulation, I might still have it. I'm not really a big collector, just doing it for hobby, is a long story how I started, but I'm willing to help you with your coin exhibition. Can I know when that will be held? For convenience, drop me an email instead of posting, what do you think? janicesh1015@yahoo.com

Have a nice and safe trip.
